Just as fans were wondering where Kanye West had disappeared to, he shocked everyone by returning to the spotlight when least expected.
Joining Travis Scott during his Tokyo concert on Saturday, November 8, the Heartless rapper took over the Tokorozawa’s Belluna Dome stage.
The 48-year-old rapper, who now goes by the name Ye, walked out wearing a mask. The astonished crowd then erupted into thunderous cheers after he revealed his face.
According to fan captured videos Travis, who shares two kids with ex Kylie Jenner, and the Yeezy founfer could be seen joking together before performing the latter’s 2004 track Through the Wire from his debut solo album as well as a few other songs.
Clips from the night quickly flooded social media, with fans completely losing it in the comments section.
Many even shared tears of joy, posting crying and emotional GIFs to show how moved they were by his much-anticipated return.
One wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “Travis Scott bringing out Kanye in Tokyo for Can’t Tell Me Nothing is the flex we didn’t know we needed [exploding head emoji].”
Another remarked, “Legends in the same moment. Pure energy.”
“The only artist thats been in the game for almost 30 years still has insane aura,” a third raved over the Runaway singer, followed by another, “The GOAT is back.”
A fifth gushed, “A happy Kanye West is what the world needs. Bully about to be euphoric..”
Now that the 24-Grammy Awards winner is officially back in action, fans are demanding the release of his long-awaited 12th studio album Bully.
He first announced the project back in September 2024, but it’s been delayed multiple times. Most recently pushed from November 7 (the day before his Tokyo appearance) to December 12.
Kanye has been laying low for months, and just as fans started speculating about his whereabouts, he popped up with this surprise comeback.
